A color model is an abstract mathematical model describing the way colors can be represented as tuples of numbers, typically as three or four values or color components (e.g. RGB and CMYK are color models). However, a color model with no associated mapping function to an absolute color space is a more or less arbitrary color system with no connection to any globally-understood system of color interpretation. Adding a certain mapping function between the color model and a certain reference color space results in a definite "footprint" within the reference color space. This "footprint" is known as a gamut, and, in combination with the color model, defines a new color space. For example, Adobe RGB and sRGB are two different absolute color spaces, both based on the RGB model. In the most generic sense of the definition above, color spaces can be defined without the use of a color model. These spaces, such as Pantone, are in effect a given set of names or numbers which are defined by the existence of a corresponding set of physical color swatches. This article focuses on the mathematical model concept. From Wikipedia under the

With long exposures you get more light which helps. I usually have to up the saturation and tweak it to give it more coloring. The best to look for is the Orion Nebula, since it is the closest. Q. What is a good color to decorate a small space to make it look bigger? Asked by MM - Wed Nov 12 02:34:07 2008 - - 6 Answers - 0 Comments A. The best color for making a small space appear larger is robin's egg blue: You can use any shade of this color blue, from lighter to darker. Another way to make the room look bigger is to paint the WHOLE room with this blue. That means the trim, window frames, door frames, baseboard and ceiling (though you'll want to lighten the blue for the ceiling, since the ceiling is always 20% darker than the walls as it reflects less light). Just add a bit of white to your color to make it lighter. Add some mirrors to reflect light, which automatically makes the room look bigger. Adjust your decor to fit the room. Use lots of white, soft gray and yes, perhaps even a bit of soft brown (but not much). Don't use overstuffed furniture - instead,… [cont.] Answered by The ReDesign Diva - Wed Nov 12 10:48:39 2008 From Yahoo Answer Search: "color space" |
